More than 200 teachers, the Minister of education, Letizia Mengarelli, and director the Agency of road safety of the province, Mariano Cuvertino, this Thursday in the city of Santa Fe opened the first meeting of the new teacher training cycle called "Caring for life." Comprehensive sex education and road safety. "Educating children for the care of themselves and of others".
This training proposal combines two themes considered fundamental for the formation of the young generation and is aimed at teachers in initial, primary and special education of the province of Santa Fe. General objectives is to form teachers who care and self-care in children and respect for the norms of coexistence in the public space; and provide tools for understanding and the pedagogical approach of comprehensive sexuality education and road safety from a complex perspective that allows them to generate proposals and participatory projects involving students, in the framework that pose the laws of Integral Sexual education and driver education.
"When at an early age a child begins to become aware of himself and personal care, begins to care for others", he began by pointing out the Minister of education at the opening of the day that was developed in the area of learning, Rivadavia 2553, the capital. ABOUT THE NEW JOURNEY
The path of training shall be made in the capitals cities of the five regions of the province: Rosario, Santa Fe, Reconquista, Rafaela and Venado Tuerto.
Road safety education module is co-organised with the Provincial Security Agency.
The training comprises 4 monthly meetings of 8 hours of compulsory attendance, and a work of accreditation which will axle production materials and activities to perform in the classroom referred to the two axes of training.
